Ramblings about entertainment, lifestyle and travel
Netflix is on fine form at the moment and it’s hard to run out of good content between 13 Reasons Why (it’s a must watch!), Riverdale and Designated Survivor (one of my current favourites).
To add to the list is its upcoming psychological thriller, Gypsy. The ten-part story follows Jean Halloway (Naomi Watts), a therapist who begins to develop intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives.
Gypsy is a female-driven psychological thriller that follows a therapist who begins to develop intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives. As she transgresses professional lines, she begins to jeopardize the very fabric of her personal life. The series also stars Billy Crudup (Spotlight), Sophie Cookson (Kingsman), Lucy Boynton (Murder on the Orient Express), Karl Glusman (Nocturnal Animals), Melanie Liburd (Dark Matter), Poorna Jagganthan, and Brenda Vaccaro.
Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the first 2 episodes and the series is created by Lucy Rubin.
